The Kunlun Hotel Beijing (Kūnlún Fàndiàn – 昆仑饭店)
The Kunlun hotel’s location is great, very convenient for the airport and the Beijing’s CBD, right by the banks of the semi-scenice Liangma river. It’s also close to the embassy district, plenty of good bars, and some good high-end shopping.
The lobby (renovated in 2005) is quite stunning, prices are reasonable and it seems most guests are pleased with the service. Overall, this place is a great bet for the business traveller or upper end tourist.
If you’re still not convinced, there’s also a revolving restaurant on the 29th floor with an open kitchen, and a host of other great culinary options.
